Abstract: Seven degrees of freedom active control model was set up for suspension system, the optimal controller was designed, and the optimal control rate of the stochastic state feedback regulator was obtained by using the separation theorem. The slide mode controller (SMC) which could track the target yaw rate was designed after setting up the mode of the active front steering system. In order to improve the vehicle ride comfort on steering condition, one upper coordinated controller was designed. Based on the vehicle sensors, the upper coordinated controller has been real-timely inputted into the steering and suspension system different tracking targets and controls parameters. The simulation results showed that the controllers could preferably improve the ride comfort and the maneuver stabilization of the vehicle.

Abstract: A kind of hydro-pneumatic suspension with controllable stiffness and damping was designed. A complex nonlinear mathematic model of hydro-pneumatic suspensions was set up on the basis of comprehensive analysis of its working principle and structure. Simulation results comparison and theoretical analysis with the test data of bench test showed that the mathematic model is authentic. The volume of gas accumulator markedly affected the stiffness of hydro-pneumatic suspension, and the size of throttle notably affected the damping of the hydro-pneumatic suspension. The total volume of gas accumulator could be controlled by changing the number of gas accumulators, and the stiffness of hydro-pneumatic suspension could be controlled further more; the damping of hydro-pneumatic suspension could also be controlled by changing the size of throttle.

Abstract: The low speed vehicle has been selected as prototype and analysis has been done with the theory of vehicle vibration, because in the condition of good roads and empty loads at the speed of about 40 km/h, this truck vibrated distinctly. Then three different kinds of vehicle vibrating models were established. According to the truck's road test and modal test, and the theory of vehicle vibration, the simulation of these three models was made, and the results were analyzed. It proved the results of simulation well agreed with the experiment. The frame should be considered as elastic. The frequency for the single particle rigid frame is 0-10 Hz and 10-20 Hz for the multi-particle elastic frame.

Abstract: To deal with the large offsets when the vehicle speed largely changes in lane keeping system, a vehicle lateral control model was designed based on states preview. Using the car-road deviation detected by monocular camera and the state variation after preview time, the car-road deviation model has been design at preview point. Simulation experiments and the real vehicle tests showed that by using the proposed model, lane keeping system could predict the preview of car-road deviation accurately, decrease preview model error. In general conditions, it could enable vehicles road offset control to maintain control within 10 cm. The algorithm could improve precision and accuracy of lane keeping control system, and improve the performance of follow the road centerline with the current model.

Abstract: High-speed photography was used to study the macro spray characteristics of biodiesel, 0# diesel and the mixed fuel with different proportion of biodiesel. It showed that the spray angle got smaller with the proportion of biodiesel increased at the initial stage of injection. During the injection process, the spray angle of biodiesel and fossil diesel fuel had little differences. Penetration rate of fossil diesel fuel and biodiesel were growing larger till stable. With the time increasing, the penetration rate of biodiesel became larger than that of fossil diesel fuel. With the proportion of biodiesel increasing, the duration of injection became longer. Especially, when the percentage of biodiesel was over 50%, the fuel injection duration increased significantly.

Abstract: Since the inner structure of multi-chamber Helmholtz resonator is complicated, acoustical performance could not be predicted by 1D plane wave theory. The 3D acoustical software has been used to simulate multi-chamber Helmholtz resonator which was combined in different ways. Then the influence of different combined structures on transmission loss of Helmholtz resonator was analyzed. The results showed that the parallel or serial structure of Helmholtz resonator could eliminate noise of several frequencies or increase transmission loss in one frequency. The combined series-parallel structure could increase its working frequency range and transmission loss.

Abstract: Aiming at the development trend of drip-irrigating study toward low energy consumption and low cost at present, CAD structural design of new anti-clogging emitters with lower water pressure was conducted by using CFD (computational fluid dynamics) numerical simulation on two-phase flow, and micro-PIV system was utilized to investigate the flow behaviors in various labyrinth channels. Based on rapid prototyping manufacturing (RP and M), a rapid development platform for new drip emitters with lower water pressure was established. Hydraulics performance and anti-clogging experimental analysis was performed in order to summarize formulas of structural parameters versus hydraulics performance by means of regression analysis. It would provide a theoretical base for new emitters with lower water pressure design.

Abstract: 158 samples of comminuted green tea were scanned by the near infrared spectroscopy analyzers. Using orthogonal experimental design, the calibration models of free amino acids content in green tea were gained with the correction methods of PCR, PLS and MPLS under different spectral data preprocessing methods separately. The models were evaluated by the objective function method. The optimal correction methods and spectral data preprocessing methods were determined, and the applicability of the models was validated. The experimental result is that using MPLS could get the optimal model. And its spectral data preprocessing method is SNV Detrend, 1, 1, 4, 4. Its objective function value is 94.25%; the relative standard deviation of validation is 6.39% (less than 10%). The results showed that using orthogonal experiment design could comprehensively evaluate the different correction methods and spectral data preprocessing methods on the models, and NIRS could achieve quantitative and fast detection of free amino acids content in green tea.

Abstract: The principles and methods were introduced for measuring soil organic matter content with the aid of spectrum data diffusely reflected by the soil. The arrangement scheme, light system, hardware and software were carefully designed. In order to further decrease the measurement errors, on the basis of previous research, three other signals from different wavelengths of light were used-including the variation of "deviation of arch" for soil spectra at 600 nm. Different processing procedures of soil samples were used for analyzing the influence on precision of organic matter content. The results showed that the measuring precision between the measurements obtained by this system and by standard methods were remarkably improved and measuring errors were reduced from 7.69% to 3.76% obviously by including the variation of "deviation of arch" within the permissible range for practical use.

Abstract: One pressure control strategy was presented for traction control system (TBS). Wheel speed sensor signals were used to judge road condition; different pressure control aims were suggested for different road conditions; target pressure was calculated and real pressure was estimated. The strategy was confirmed with vehicle experiment. The result showed that this pressure control strategy could greatly reduce the meaningless consumption of engine torque by the brake torque. The strategy could greatly reduce the fluctuation of pressure and the wheel speed fluctuation resulting from pressure fluctuation; it could also improve the vehicle starting ability up to 47%.

Take the compressibility and the viscosity of the real gas into account, the NS equations and standard k-ε turbulence model were applied to calculate the forces on seeds in the gas field nearby the vacuum nozzle by using the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software Fluent. The axial pickup distance, the radial pickup distance, the volume of effective pickup region and the seeds pickup tracks were received through the binary linear interpolation method. The effects of the diameter of nozzles and the differential pressure on the pickup performance were analyzed, the results showed that the pickup performance of conical nozzle was better than the straight nozzle and the bore hole and it would be improved with the increasing of nozzle diameter and the differential pressure. The rape seeds were selected as experimental material, the optimum parameters combined with conical nozzle of Φ1 mm, the roller's rotational speed of 14 r/min. and the differential pressure of 2 kPa were received through orthogonal tests. The parameters were tested to be the best with the seeds single pickup ratio of 92%, the seeds missing pickup ratio of 4% and the seeds multiple pickup ratio of 4%.

Abstract: The image data were acquired by using PCI data acquisition card and the color linear CCD camera. And the sampled data have been stored in text files as a data source for the followed study of color-based sorting algorithm. To reduce the disturbance, we attempted to get smooth signals by wavelet filtering method. According to the relevant theory of digital image processing feature extraction and actual image data characteristics, the K-means clustering analysis was applied to sort the image data into three categories: the background category, normal rice category and the bad rice category. A new method of rice color-sorting algorithm was realized based on color linear CCD, and this method is independent of any human experience.

Abstract: The aluminum alloy auto panel strength beam was numerical simulated by FEM software while press force, the depth, die radius, punch radius of draw bead were independent variables, the data about the crack, winkle and the thinning were acquired by an orthogonal experiment. Then the grey relational generating between forming process and the single objective function, the grey rational grade of multi-objective were calculated by the grey theory system, thus the multi-objective design was changed into the single-objective design. Furthermore the average grey relational grade of the forming process was analyzed. Employing the optimization data, the auto panel forming was numerically simulated. The conclusion demonstrated that the sheet forming quality is obviously increased by the optimized forming process parameters.

Abstract: The strapdown inertial measurement algorithm was firstly derived on the basis of the set coordinate systems. Secondly, both the state and the measure equations of errors were established based on the indirect feedback and non-tight integrated position/velocity/course angle measuring model between the middle-and-low precision IMU (inertial measurement unit) and the high precision CP-DGPS (carrier-phase-differential GPS). Then the improved self-adapting Kalman filter was employed to simulate the measurement model. Finally, the measurement system was developed for the model certification and the roadway tests were conducted. The comparative study on the simulation and the roadway tests showed that the simulation results are in good agreement with the experimental result, which further justified the effectiveness of the developed integrated system for the vehicle active safety roadway test.

Abstract: An experimental study on characteristics of driving force and transmission efficiency of electric tractor was carried out. Based on the theoretical analysis about characteristics of driving force and transmission efficiency of electric tractor, the generation equation of driving force, the calculation equation of transmission efficiency and motor controller efficiency were built up considering the whole tractor. The experimental study was carried out by using the method of indoor simulation experiment. The experimental results showed that the characteristic curves of driving force are down concave, and are more suitable for dynamic performance of the tractor; the characteristic curve of driving force of different shifts is suitable for different working conditions; the transmission efficiency of electric tractor have greater difference when the electric tractor working on different shifts, and the electric tractor has the best economy when it is working on the VI shift because the wide range of efficient velocity; the motor controller has little effect on transmission efficiency of electric tractor for its high efficiency.

Abstract: Problem of disagreement between 2D drawing and actual wood former of double-channel impeller of sewage pump most possibly encountered if the design is from traditional 2D manner. Research was carried out for the method of 3D design directly in Pro/ENGINEER, so 2D drawing could be produced by projecting through 3D impeller designed. The procedure could secure the agreement between 2D drawing and actual wood former. A practical design exemplified the correctness of the method by experiment. Additionally, a formula was deuced, which showed the relation between the outlet angle of center line of channel and wrap angle, variant coefficient, if archimedes spiral was assumed as the curve of center line of plate plane. It was the basis to control outlet angle of channel. Another formula was presented for the calculation of normal distance from points on the passage center line to outer diameter and formula of cross-section area as outlet point was also available. Based on them, a new method was developed for fin, ding out the outlet point.

Abstract: In order to increase the output and specific speed of Pelton turbines, the method of increasing nozzle number is usually adopted. However, the increasing nozzle will lead to mutual interference of internal flows of the runner, which reduces the efficiency of Pelton turbines. By using CFD technique, the internal flow of Pelton turbines runner with six nozzles was numerically simulated. Through the calculation results of mutual flow between bucket number and nozzle number, we found that 21 buckets for runner in Pelton turbines with six nozzles was matching with the nozzle number. The velocity and pressure distribution and current path line of single bucket during the whole jet accepting process have been obtained. The interference of internal flow of the runner during the multi-nozzle acting at the same time has been obtained as well. All these provided references for the practical operation of hydropower station.

Abstract: The electrostatic charged spray could reduce the viscosity resistance and enhance the atomization effect. After the droplets come into being, the electric field can minish the droplets surface tension and make the droplets produce the second atomization, and further the droplets become much smaller and the uniformity of droplets diameter is improved. With the air and water as working fluids, the experimental research of twin-fluid charged spray nozzle designed by oneself was studied. The droplets diameter, the axial jet velocity and turbulent fluctuation intensity under the different charged voltages and gas-liquid ratio were obtained. The measure of two phases flow velocity and turbulent fluctuation intensity were determined. The influence of charged voltage and droplets diameter, axial jet velocity, turbulent fluctuation intensity were discussed.

Abstract: A mathematical model was developed to quantitatively analyze the rate of soybean oil extraction at varying extrusion parameters including material moisture, expanding temperature, the die length, the length of section δ and the rotate speed of screw. Kinetic parameters were estimated and correlated with the oil concentration of extrusion soybean products at different extraction time. The kinetic model identified microstructure development upon varying extrusion conditions. By analyzing characteristics of soybean fat globules for different extrusion masses, it showed that positive correlation between the size of fat globules and the diffusivity index. To enhance oil availability and extractability, the quantity models were developed to describe the relations of varying extrusion parameters and extraction time when the ratio of residual oil of soybean meals was 1%, it was used to obtain optimal extraction time for different extrusion conditions. Observed experimental oil extraction data fitted well with the developed soybean mathematical models.

Abstract: A novel biodiesel was prepared by a two-step technology from the seed oil of Acer truncatum Bunge, a woody oil-bearing plant. Technological conditions of the esterification were investigated, and the composition of the product was analyzed by gas chromatography (GC). The technological parameters to reduce the acidity of the oil in the first step were as follows: the ratio of methanol to the oil was 6, amount of concentrated sulfuric acid as catalyst 0.6%, reaction temperature 50°C, and reaction time 90 min. In the second step however, the ratio of methanol to oil was 6, the amount of potassium hydroxide as catalyst 0.9%, reaction temperature 60°C, and reaction time 50 min. The conversion rate of seed oil of Acer truncatum was over 99%. The results of GC analysis showed that in biodiesel obtaining, the methyl esters of fatty acid with 18-20 carbon chains accounted for 91.54%, including 37.03% of methyl oleate, 41.37% of methyl linoleate.

Abstract: A new method to identify the position of Japan Euonymus plantlets in bottle from the bottle bottom was proposed according to the appearance of plantlets in bottle. The experimental data of 200 plantlets showed that the method is feasible, for the distance between stalk and root is 1.5 mm in 97% plantlets. A set of image acquisition system for bottle bottom has been established, and the algorithm to extract the root image from the bottle bottom image, tag the area and calculate the center of each root was developed. Detecting experiments were carried out by identifying images of 240 plantlets and measuring the distances between calculated root centers and actual stalk centers. The results indicated that the detecting accuracy of root amount is 92.05% and the average distances between calculated root centers and actual stalk centers are 0.85 mm. It can meet the requirement of transplanting process.

Abstract: The parts-selection model of mechanical products for MC strategy was presented. The model integrated the relational diagram model and the hierarchical assembly model of product. Some data objects such as interfaces, rules and constraints have been introduced into the model. Using this model, the knowledge, relations and experiences of the product could be expressed conveniently, and the parts could be selected initially. An uncertain multiple attribute decision making method based on CWGA operator and maximizing deviation method was presented to optimize the parts selection. A case study was also presented to illuminate the proposed method.

Abstract: The unconstrained optimization model for the forward positional analysis of a 6DOF symmetrical Stewart parallel manipulator, which based on the constrained length of the bars, was presented. The standard particle swarm optimization (SPSO) has some demerits, such as relapsing into local extremum and slow convergence velocity in the late evolutionary. The improved PSO, adaptive mutation PSO (AMPSO), based on the new difference index, were proposed to overcome the demerits of the SPSO. Aimed at all forward positional solutions of parallel mechanisms were hard to obtain, stochastic algorithms were used to solve these solutions. Directed towards this weakness, the hierarchical search adaptive mutation PSO (HSAMPSO) was adopted to make the optimal problem for forward positional analysis of parallel mechanisms. Numerical results for the forward position analysis of the symmetrical Stewart parallel manipulator showed that the HSAMPSO could solve all assembly configurations, and possess the performances of rather quick convergence speed and high precision.

Abstract: A hydraulic servo master-slave robot was designed and force bilateral servo control algorithm was studied. Because of the features of the common symmetry servo valve, the master manipulator can not drive the actors directly and pressure information of the master manipulator is needed to drive the actors through the controller. This process greatly affects the response speed of the control system. The force differential signal of the master and slave was used to control the slave manipulator and the position differential signal of the slave and the master was used to drive the master manipulator. This new control strategy improved the response speed of the master-slave control system. The slave's interference situation could be decided based on how the master followed the slave. Additionally, the new control strategy changed the common control mode that the slave followed the master, and the master felt the slave's force.

Abstract: The thickness of the S50160/75 standard pump volute calculated by the traditional formula was amended to solve the volute wall of the domestic standard pump. The pressure distributions in the volute along the flowing were simulated by using Fluent software, and the trends were from rising to declining to rising again in low flux condition and rising gradually in rated condition. The stresses and strains have been calculated approximately in different conditions with ANSYS software, it concluded that the throat section and the largest ring of the axial region are the most easily damaged and the most dangerous parts. Strength check on the volute and finite element analysis showed that the amended thickness of the volute met the strength requirements. And the hydraulic performance tests of the pump proved that the calculated results are consistent with the actual results.

Abstract: The transient control equations of 3-D flow in hydrodynamic coupling were coupled calculated by using the methods of large eddy simulation (LES), flow control equation coupled solution, and sliding mesh method for multi-flow regions in CFD software. In order to learn the flow laws of flow field deeply and optimize the structure, the numerical solution of the 3-D flow field has been analyzed. The torque in each impeller of hydrodynamic coupling was figured out based on the numerical solution of the 3-D flow field. Then the characteristic of hydrodynamic coupling was predicted. The prediction characteristic has been compared with the experimental result; it is found that the error between them is less than 7%, which could prove the effectiveness of the numerical simulation method and characteristic prediction. Then the conclusion has been drawn that the numerical simulation method for the flow field of hydrodynamic coupling has applicable value in engineering.

Abstract: The mathematical model of hydraulic of electro-hydraulic power steering system (EHPS) line was established by using bode graph theory and the state space equation was attained. Dynamic fluid friction of the line has been considered when modeling so the simulation results more agreed with reality. A simulation was carried out to analyze how the fluid resistance, induction and capacity impacted the work performance of the hydraulic line. The result is that, increase the fluid resistance and induce or decrease the fluid capacity could all boost up the stability.

Abstract: A new evaluation method, with accompanying software SIUEW1.0, was developed to precisely calculate uniformity from catch-can test data. Water application depths of a rain-bird sprinkler 30PSH were calculated at each grid point. The Christiansen uniformity (CU) for four sprinklers in square and triangular spaced were computed with 1 m and 2 m spaces, and with 1 m and 0.25 m grid spaces. The results showed that the sequence of CUs from high to low is 2 m sampling spaces by linear interpolation, 2 m sampling spaces by cubic spline interpolation, 1 m sampling spaces by linear interpolation and 1m sampling spaces by cubic spline interpolation. CUs computed from 2 m space catch-can data are greater than that from 1 m space catch-can data by 3%-4%. CUs computed with cubic spline twice interpolation are less than that with linear interpolation by using nearest four points by 1.0%. The deviation between CUs computed from grid points with 1 m space and 0.25 m separately are less than 1.0%. It could be concluded from these results that the influence of sampling space, interpolation method, and grid space on CU is less and less in turn.

Abstract: Spatial distributions and relationship between available nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and wheat yield in the Dantu area of Zhenjiang were analyzed by using geo-statistics and partial correlation analysis methods. Their spatial distribution maps were generated as well. The results showed that variables are all approximately normally distributed and have good spatial structure characteristics. Available nitrogen is closely related to wheat yield and 1000-grain weight, as their partial correlation coefficients are respectively 0.569 and 0.5. However, available phosphorus and potassium have little effect on wheat yield and 1000-grain weight. For their partial correlation coefficients are respectively 0.069, 0.284 and 0.147, 0.133.

Abstract: Based on whole-system dynamic error modeling method and theory, the theory and method of dynamic accuracy loss decomposition and tracing were studied. Using bill belt signal reconstruction improvement arithmetic, the accuracy loss signal of emulation system was decomposed, its frequency components of the system's main insider structural units was obtained. Then by using non-linear mapping ability from input to output of BP NN, model parameters of the built accuracy loss function model of each insider cells were estimated, and the signals decomposing were achieved. Using the error characteristic of each insider structural units and the systemic whole error model, the signals tracing were achieved. Experimental result indicated that by using BBSRIA (bill belt signal reconstruction improvement arithmetic), reliably decompose and tracing of the accuracy loss signal could be achieved.

Abstract: A camera calibration method was put forward and applied to non-contacting detection for the front fender of a car. The spatial lattice has been constructed by using virtual target and the corner coordinates were extracted with SUSAN operator. In order to acquire the camera parameters, the corner coordinates have been brought into the camera model and the coordinates and error of these points were obtained. An iterative algorithm was presented to correct all the parameters till the error within the permission. The error compensation was performed by using tri-linear interpolation. The experiment showed that the method is rapid and has high stability and accuracy, and its precision is up to subpixel.

Abstract: Aimed at the demand of NURBS tool path generation for high speed and high precision CNC machining, a new algorithm for generation of NURBS tool path based on linear tool path was proposed. The algorithm found out the segments of linear tool path that adapted to NURBS transformation by using the method of subsection the linear tool path according to the geometry features of linear tool path, and changed them to NURBS. If the interpolation error is bigger than the admit error, then subsection should be done at the data point which has the biggest error and transform them to NURBS over again. The case study indicated that the algorithm is feasibility and practicability.

Abstract: Through experimental modal analysis and chatter stability lobes simulation, some uncertain factors of machine tool system affecting chatter stability lobes were studied. The research obtained: the cutter flute length, the cutter overhang, the cutter tooth number etc. were main cutter geometry factors affecting the chatter stability; according to actual requirements, cutter overhang should be strictly controlled and cutter parameters should be chosen properly in order to make the system remain high rigidity and cutter tooth number should be chosen reasonably which results in high performance stable milling process. The conclusion obtained has been verified through the industrial example.
