Abstract: According to the study on tire load variation when vehicle was running and the relationship of tire load, pressure and temperature, a mathematics model was presented based on the tire load, pressure and temperature. The model could decide whether the tire loads exceed allowable range by means of tire pressure and temperature. By adopting the theory, a tire condition and vehicle load testing system was designed. The system could test vehicle tire temperature and pressure through sensors in the tires. The system decided whether the vehicle was in danger condition and gave suggestions. If the vehicle run exceeding allowable load long time, the system would transfer correlative information to traffic control office through wireless communication networks, thus overload could be avoided. According to the test, the theory was proved to be correct and the system is useful.

Abstract: The statistical distribution model of field reliability of system or component is the key to synthetically optimize the maintenance and repair policy, spare parts inventory/indent and maintenance resource. Six types of Weibull distribution models that often used in the analysis of reliability were expounded. And the way to set up the statistical distribution model of field reliability, the calculation of goodness of fit indicator and the comparison of fit goodness of different distribution functions, the Χ2 fit checkup have been studied as well. And the statistical distribution model of field reliability of a whole automobile was set up.

Abstract: Based on Lagrangian tracking of solid particles' motion trajectories in a solid-fluid flow field, by applying Finnie ductile materials erosion model, Reynolds stress model and discrete phase model to the continuous phase and dispersed phase, the solid-liquid erosion and motion trajectory of solid particle and the impact progress between solid particle and machine surface were simulated successfully. The volume content of solid phase in two-phase flow was lower than 10% in this simulation model. According to the simulation result, the related parameters of solid particle, such as density and diameter, and rotational speed of impeller greatly influenced the motion trajectory and the impaction with machine surface of solid particle. The solid particle with large mass was apt to move toward to the working surface and impacted the inlet head of impeller. By contraries, little particle was liable to impact the rear-end surface of impeller near to the outlet side. The large solid particle could repeatedly impact machine surface easier than the little particle. The numerical simulation result was verified by a comparison experimental analysis result.

Abstract: The pressure fluctuation of turbulent flow, especially near the volute tongue in a double-suction centrifugal pump, is the primary reason of pump vibration and noise. This unsteady flow feature was investigated by large eddy simulation (LES) method with sliding mesh technology. The results showed that the blade passing frequency dominated the pressure fluctuations near the volute tongue at the design and large flow rate condition. At the small flow rate condition, the frequency which was lower than the blade passing frequency became dominative in the pressure fluctuations. The amplitude of the pressure fluctuation became higher when the flow rate was farer from the design flow rate. At the 62%, 80% and 120% of design flow rate conditions, the pressure fluctuation amplitudes were respectively 219%, 105% and 205% larger than the amplitude at design flow rate.

Abstract: Air-resistance phenomenon usually exists in oil-gas multiphase pump. In order to solve the air-resistance phenomenon, a scheme of designing an air-resistance regulator was purposed after detailed analysis. Based on the theoretic analyzing and practical testing, the design method of air-resistance regulator was summarized and concluded. Finally, a prototype of the designed air-resistance regulator was manufactured. The operation assessment results showed that the prototype can meet the needs of poor conditions.

Abstract:The powered-disc ridge till and no-till planter was designed to solve the problems of straw blocking, high energy consumption of strip rototilling and unstable operation on ridges in current no-tillage maize planting in ridge tillage areas of northeast China. The machine used the combined device of powered-disc and depth control wheel to cut the stubble, open seed furrow and stabilize in planting, and the key parameters of the device were analyzed and determined. The field experiment showed that the powered-disc ridge till and no-till planter was effective in anti-blocking and cutting stubble. The broken stubble depth was about 87 mm and the separation space between seed and fertilizer was approximately 48 mm, which met the agronomic requirements. Furthermore, the openers seeded and fertilized in the furrow opened by powered disc, thereby decreased soil disturbance and power consumption. The powered-disc ridge till and no-till planter reduced fuel consumption by 8.5% and soil disturbance by 50%, respectively compared to the strip-rototilling ridge till and no-till planter.

Abstract:Based on the field experiment, and by means of theoretical analysis, uniform design and the data quasi-level processing method,the multi-objects fuzzy optimization mathematical model, which uses the stubble cleaner's high production efficiency and low power consumption as the goal, uses the machine advance speed, cutter rotating speed and machine width as the working parameters, are developed. The regulation about how the working parameters of stubble cleaner affect the goal is put forward. When the machine width is a fixed value, the goal level will be increased fast with the increasing of the machine advance speed and increased with the increasing of the cutter rotating speed; when the cutter rotating speed is a fixed value, the goal level will be increased fast with the increasing of the advance speed and increased slowly with the spreading of the machine width; when the advance speed is a fixed value, the goal level will be decreased slowly with the spreading of the machine width and the increasing of the cutter rotating speed. The optimization is conducted in the feasible area which is limited by the constraint conditions. The best working parameters of the machine width is 1.42 m, the cutter rotating speed is 406 r/min and the advance speed is 1.5 m/s.

Abstract: A set of variable-rate continuous spray equipment was developed by using the proportional regulating solenoid valve based on pulse-width modulation (PWM) technology. The effects of this variable-rate spray equipment on spray characteristics were studied.It was concluded that the flow regulating range of this set was wide. The flow regulating range for the flat-fan nozzle was about 7:1. When the spray flow-rate was reduced through decreasing the duty cycle, the degree of spray dispersion was changed significantly. The spray distribution concentrated toward the center obviously and the spray angle became smaller. But the effects of the flow control on spray droplet diameter were slight. The spray droplet size decreased slightly with the flow decreasing.

Abstract: Knotter is the key part of square baler, and the design difficulty is the angle measurement between 5 shaft hole, that is because five shaft holes is non-paralleling, also non-crossing, the conventional methods is difficult to be used to measure the space angles. An improved parameterization definition is used to construct geometric distance functions of cylinder; secondly the nonlinear least squares solution is used to fit the cylinder in Imageware12. The fitted cylinders are introduced into UGNX3 to express the space angles in three-face projection way.

Abstract: Poor air flow patterns and vortices can affect the efficient flow of forage. To improve the working efficiency of an impeller blower, the 3D air flows in the impeller blower of a 9R40 rubbing and breaking machine was numerically simulated and analyzed with computation fluid dynamics (CFD) software Fluent 6.3. Then the numerical simulated results of air flow velocities in the blowing pipe were compared with their testing results to validate the reliability of the numerical simulated results. At the same time, some main geometrical parameters were simulated, which included the numbers of blade, the mounting angle of blade, the shape of housing and the arc-radius of outlet of housing etc. The optimum results were obtained according to the simulated results. The study results showed that with 4-blade, blades slanted backwards, and circular housing, impeller blowers produced more efficient air flow respectively than impeller blowers with 3-blade, blades slanted forwards and radial blades, and non-circular housing.

Abstract: For the purpose of analyzing the stability of walking mobile excavator, which moving cross direction on the sloping ground, a static model including multi-degree system for working mechanism and chassis mechanism was described, and the additional inertia moment of working device during its rotating was also considered. A mathematical model of multi-objective optimization for the stability of walking mobile excavator was constructed. The utility function method was employed to solve the optimal model. The maximum degree of slope and state parameters of working mechanism and the chassis were optimized. The results showed that the proposed method has its merits, such as simple and reliable, and it could provide theoretical basis for confirming the cross direction moving parameters of the walking mobile excavators and safety controlling.

Abstract: In order to improve the design of reciprocating pump, two design methods on fatigue reliability, which are based on the most hazardous cross-section and finite element analysis respectively, were put forward. A practical object-oriented application software about fatigue reliability analysis on pump crankshaft was developed by several senior programming technologies via VC 6.0. By this software, the fatigue reliability analysis can be fulfilled by two approaches and six methods. Calculating example and practical applications indicated that this software have a lot of merits such as friendly interfaces, simply and reliable operation, high precision and good application prospect.

Abstract: Based on design-expert statistic system, extraction conditions including temperature, time, the ratio of alkaline solution and mycelium, and the volume ratio of alcohol and alkaline solution were optimized for mycelium polysaccharide by center composition design. The results showed that quadratic model was the best model to describe the relationship between the extraction rate of polysaccharide and the factors. R-squared adjusted value of the model was 0.9495, and the simulated coefficient R was 0.9847. By response surface methodology (RSM), we found that when temperature, time, the ratio of alkaline solution and mycelium, and the volume ratio of alcohol and alkaline solution respectively were 73-76°C, 2.6-3.5 h, 18.25-25 mL/g and 2.5-3.5, the lowest extraction rate of polysaccharide was 4.45%. When temperature, time, the ratio of alkaline solution and mycelium, and the volume ratio of alcohol and alkaline solution separately were 76°C, 3.24 h, 23 mL/g and 3.5, the extraction rate of polysaccharide would reach 5.23%, a highest value in our investigation extension.

Abstract: A comparative experiment on the hot-air (HA),microwave-convective (MWC) and microwave-vacuum (MWV) drying of mushroom has been done. In hot-air drying, the temperature was 60°C when the velocity of air was kept at 1 m/s; in microwave-convective drying, the temperature of the inlet air was set at 60°C with the same velocity of 1 m/s; in microwave-vacuum drying, the vacuum level was set at 5.1 kPa(absolute pressure). In both cases the microwave power density was set at 0.5 W/g. The curves of moisture content versus drying time were established to compare the drying data. The internal temperature profiles of mushrooms were presented for MWC, MWV and HA drying. Color and re-hydration attributes were measured to evaluate the quality of dried mushrooms. The results showed that using microwave to dry mushrooms resulted in a reduction in the drying time, while using vacuum drying decreased the product temperature and improved product quality.

Abstract: The pulse glare sterilization is a kind of new technology. The design of experimental equipment and its detecting system were finished. The pulse xeon was taken as a light source. Its input voltage was 0.8 to 3 kV. The primary experiments have been done by the equipment to a special bacterium. The results showed that flash frequency, input voltage, bacterium liquid depth and relative transmittance are the main factors. The sterilizing rate could reach 100% when the values of these factors were increased. And the effects of pulse glare sterilization are very remarkable. This equipment can be applied in the processing and storage of agricultural products.

Abstract: Infrared radiation has strong heat selectivity. The absorptivity of the heated object is higher than the around air, so only the object is heated while the temperature of the environment just raises a little. Also infrared heating has the characteristics such as uniform heating, heat penetration, higher energy and processing efficiencies. For blanching and dehydration, the technology has the advantages of shorter time, quicker velocity, less energy consumption and enhancing final product quality. The characteristics of the infrared radiation technology on blanching and dehydration of farm product, the investigation of infrared technology on blanching and dehydration both at home and abroad were described. Further researches of this technology were pointed out.

Abstract: Applying HSL (hue, saturation, luminance) color model transformation technology, the research of pearl luster degree classification has been done, and the pearl image was disposed after
transformed it from RGB color model to HSL color model. Then, according to the luminance message that has been received, fuzzy pattern recognition method was adopted to distinguish and classify, and at last the classification of pearl luster degree was realized.Afterwards, by giving correction and instruction, aiming at the evaluation method, the method was further perfected and its applicability was improved.

Abstract: Taking the utilization degree of gravity head, the design's utilization rate of pressure drop created by hypsography was evaluated by using two different expressions namely utilization rate of pipe gravity head and utilization rate of path gravity head as network optimization objective functions. Line-up competition algorithm (LCA) with the two means competition that between families and inside a family and little controls parameter was introduced in optimal design. The result testified by the case study, and the comparison between the method based on minimization of cost and genetic algorithm showed that the new method could obtain the optimal result and is superior in search efficiency.

Abstract: CAN bus makes control system of agricultural machine networked, intelligent, and distributed because of its high data transmission rate, reliability and expandability. Distributed control network for CAN-based autonomous agricultural robot was designed. The objective was to present 4WD/4WS robot system structure and hardware structure and software design of CAN network in detail, and to prove it to be feasible that a controller area network (CAN bus) as the basis of an autonomous agricultural robot by the test of sending and receiving messages. Tests showed that CAN bus network could increase open and real-time of the robot system.

Abstract: In order to ensure recognizing crop row automatically with some robustness against noise environment and to confirm its possible intelligence for an agriculture mobile robot working in the fields, a crop row recognition method was presented by using genetic algorithm with surface-strip model to detect the crop row imaged in the gray scale image without any preprocessing. The accuracy and stability of the proposed visual recognition of crop raw with high robustness against noise such as sunlight condition varieties and obstacles were demonstrated by artificial image and real image scanning. The robustness of the method against environmental noises and the effectiveness of the method for real-time recognition have been verified by using real rural images.

Abstract: For the sake of fault diagnosis and maintenance problems of automated manual transmission (AMT), an online fault diagnosis system was established based on CAN bus and PSA (PCA-subtractive clustering-ANFIS) model. The original sample data of AMT fault diagnosis was derived from sensors of electronic control utilities (ECU) and transmitted on CAN bus. Principal component analysis (PCA) was used to reduce correlations and dimensions of input variables. An original fuzzy inference model was built by using subtractive clustering algorithm, on which an adaptive-network-based fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) was based and adopted to build a new type fault diagnosis model. Experimental result showed that combined with CAN bus, PSA model is effective, and both of its fitting ability and convergence speed are superior to PCABP network model.

Abstract: In the results of topology optimization with SIMP (solid isotropic material with penalization model), there are always some grey areas with intermediate densities. The intermediate densities of supports will have an effect on the topologies of structure and support. In order to drive the solution to a 0/1 layout a new constraint, labeled the sum of squares of the variables (SSV) was introduced for the first time. The constraint stipulated that the SSV must be larger or equal to its value at a discrete design for a specified amount of material. Based on the SIMP approach and the SSV constraint, a two-pass method has been proposed, where SIMP was employed to generate an intermediate solution to initialize the design variables and SSV was then adopted to produce the final design. In SSV stage, the design variables were still the densities of the finite elements but Young's modulus was a linear function of these densities (in some sense, a SIMP material without penalty). The potential of the present method has been demonstrated by simultaneous topological design of structure and support for minimum compliance. The examples showed that the hybrid technique could effectively remove all intermediate densities of support, whose effects were eliminated accordingly, and generate stiffer optimal designs characterized with a sharper boundary in contrast to SIMP.

Abstract: The error of complex sound pressure measured on acoustic holograph plane due to error of acoustical holograph measurement system, amplitude error and phase mismatch between different measuring channels, was analyzed, and an approximate error correction expression of holographic reconstruction was deducted. A correction method based on measuring system transfer function was proposed to correct the holographic data, by means of this method, a concise reconstruction's error expression could be obtained and there was a simple real proportion's relation between the true value of sound field reconstruction, estimate of sound field reconstruction and error of reconstruction. The effectiveness of educed error expression and error correction method were proved through numerical simulation.

Abstract: Severe demands on measuring circuits for the multi-rollers method are needed compared with single-roller method in the measurement of large wheel diameter. In view of the correction for engraving error of grating and the need for the correlated data analysis, a novel multi-modal sampling technology for measuring grating signals based on double counters was put forward, the design of multi-modal sampling circuits was described in detail and the simulation results of distinguishing and rejecting skidding signals of large wheel were given, which indicated that by the multi-modal sampling technology with double counters, the weak skidding signals on very small areas of large wheel surface could be distinguished and the sampling data were reliable.

Abstract: In order to study the dynamic characteristics of the hydrostatic secondary control load simulation system, the numerical simulation models of secondary unit were given by using MSC.Easy5 software. It is an efficient way to describe state-oriented discontinuities and to facilitate efficient numerical integration of the secondary control systems. The comparative analysis of the results of numerical simulation and test on frequency response characteristic of speed controlled unit demonstrated the simulation models of secondary controlled system were adequately accurate. The speed variation for a jump in torque on a typical test bench where the speed controlled unit was coupling with the torque controlled one via specimen has been discussed. Simulation result showed that the mechanical coupling had little effect on hydrostatic secondary
control load simulation system. The speed variation of the speed controlled unit was mainly affected by load disturbance. Depending on the principle of structure invariance, an approximate
feed-forward compensator was designed to resist load disturbance and promote the control quality.

Abstract: A λ-formed four-bar linkage to realize approximate straight tract was designed by using analytic method. A general synthesis model was established, and some key parameters in the equations were solved. By varying the design parameters, an infinite number of possible mechanical solutions can be represented, from which it is difficult for designers to select a satisfactory solution. To avoid aimlessness in choosing design parameters, the variable feasible areas could be computed and displayed with 3-D graph by applying numerical method and graphics technology. The property parameters, such as straight-line deviate tolerance, maximal link-length,mechanism type, have been compared and analyzed. The results of synthesis examples and property analysis verified the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed formulas and method.

Abstract: Three dimensional pressure distribution and temperature field of the bear in water lubrication and its difference between the bear in oil lubrication were analyzed in numerical simulating through solving the law-of-the-wall and Reynolds equation with finite elements method (FEM), and the changes of lubricant viscosity with temperature were taken into account. The result showed that under high speed condition, pressure distribution and temperature field of the bear are different from those with oil lubrication and also could control the temperature of bear effectively with water lubrication.

Abstract: Based on the theory of friction and lubrication, the models of the rotary seal under the condition of fluid lubrication and boundary lubrication were established respectively. Relations between force characteristic and structural parameters of the sealing ring were analyzed. Lubrication state between the sealing ring and the surface of the shaft groove was also discussed. The expression of calculating friction torque under the condition of boundary lubrication was deduced. Experiments have been done on the rotary seal test bench designed specially. Testing results validated the calculation formula.

Abstract: On the basis of the studies upon the computer vision system construction and the theories and technologies of the image preprocessing, the segmentation of image as well as the pixels connectivity of digital image, the methods of wiping off the noise points in the binary image of the micro plastic gears and extracting the contour of the gears were put forward. The simplifying algorithm for the contour extracting was raised by the methodology of the mathematical morphology. The principles and the implement of the key technologies of the above algorithm were also presented. It found out that a curvilinear could be represented with the fewest points by deleting the unassociated points. At last, the experiments have showed that the inspection dates of the tooth profile could be obtained accurately by the simplifying algorithm of contour optimization and the algorithm could meet the needs of the virtual engineering inspection.

Abstract: By coordinating different chassis control subsystems, integrated vehicle dynamics control (IVDC) can avoid system interferences and thus improve overall vehicle dynamics performance. First, the roadmap and methodologies of IVDC were reviewed, and then the control strategies of coordination between the subsystems were summarized. To further improve vehicle active safety, the integration between steering and braking/traction will still be most concerned in future IVDC study. A typical question can be that, based on the consideration of practical actuator limits and thenon-linearity both in tire and vehicle, how to optimally assign the required stabilizing force/moment to each wheel/tire. Particularly, once X-by-wire technology and novel active control systems are widely used, more potential benefits of IVDC can be expected.

Abstract: Aimed at the difficulty of starting up and knocking on the homogeneous charge compression ignition natural gas engine, a hot surface assisted ignition system with stratified charge was developed and it's operating characteristics was investigated. Results from experiments showed that engine starting up is easy with natural gas low pressure supply method. It is advantageous for the mixture concentration stratification forming with decreasing passage size, increasing high pressure injection ratio and decreasing advanced angle of high pressure injection. At a result, the interval angle of ignition between main and auxiliary chamber was increased, the pressure raising ratio and the heat release ratio around the top dead center were retarded obviously, so knocking was restrained. With passage diameter between the main and auxiliary chamber at 8 mm, the maximum power is 83% of the original engine at 1200 r/min and 73% of the original engine at 1400 r/min respectively, Meanwhile NOx emission has been reduced compared to the direct injection natural gas engine.

Abstract: Combining the advantages of HCCI combustion and in-cylinder direct injection combustion for a diesel engine fuelled with DME, a new concept combustion system, namely compound charge compression ignition (CCCI) combustion by port introduction and direct injection of DME, was proposed, a diesel engine was modified to carry out this test. The results showed that CCCI combustion process comprised HCCI combustion and pre-mixing combustion, diffusion combustion. And different combustion characteristic was presented by it with the variation of premixed fuel ratio. With the increasing of premixed fuel ratio, the peak value of mean temperature, pressure, rise rate of pressure as well as NOx emissions decreased first and increasedlater. With the increasing of fuel delivery advance angle, CO and HC emissions decreased and NOx emissions increased, the fuel consumption has been improved. Compared with HCCI combustion mode, under a certain premixed fuel ratio and fuel delivery advance angle, CCCI combustion could extend the operating range with a little change of NOx emissions and a reduction in HC and CO emissions.

Abstract: AC servo system of micromanipulator's motion system has some bad characters for control, such as high nonlinear, uncertainty and strong external disturbance. Based on PID control, the parameters of self-adjusting PIDF control, the BP neural networks PID control and the fuzzy adaptive PID control have been adopted in integrating an intelligent system for motion control of
micromanipulator. It made fully use of the advantages of these intelligent algorithms and filled up the deficiency of each of them. The designing details on each PID controller and the integrated method and working principle of intelligent system were presented. To validate its performance, the system was introduced into motion controlling for Panasonic AC servo system. Experimental results showed that integrated scheme improved the system accuracy with favorable dynamic and steady performance, and could adapt to load variation and external interference with a strong robustness.

Abstract: Aiming at the demand of complex surface high speed and high accuracy of CNC machining, the NURBS curve direct interpolators were investigated. A new NURBS curve hybrid interpolation algorithm which was put forward is a combination of FIR filters, second order Taylor algorithm, and interpolator's error control algorithm. On the basis of achieving high precision, S velocity profile was adopted to smoothly, exactly produce the velocity profile. Two cascade FIR filters were utilized to realize the acceleration and deceleration according to S velocity profile. By canceling the look-ahead algorithm in NURBS curve interpolation algorithm, NURBS curve hybridinterpolation algorithm could also greatly shorten the computing time of NURBS interpolator, increase the frequency of interpolator, and advance the machining feed-rate.

Abstract: The research on how to get border line, feature line and section line from point cloud data was done and a new segmentation method based on feature line was put forward. At first, the research on feature recognition, interrelationships was conduced by applying this method. The point cloud data into corresponding segments was subdivided secondly. At last the surface based on range data was constructed and complex surface reconstruction was finished. The method was used on a motorcycle front cover panel reconstruction. It has advantage in point cloud data segmentation, feature line pick-up, complex surface reconstruction and has resolved the problem of complicated surface fitting.

Abstract: Using finite element method, the varying rule of mechanical parameters with technology parameters was analyzed systematically in multi-wedge cross wedge rolling forming automobile semi-axes. The testing system of mechanical parameters by using computer-collected data was developed. Through this testing system, the influence rule of rolling force and rolling moment at different technology parameters was tested on line. The result of test corresponded with the theoretical analysis. The research results provided important theory foundation for defining parameters of rolling force and rolling moment for developing multi-wedge cross wedge rolling mill of forming automobile semi-axes.

Abstract: IVECO light-duty vehicle hood inner panel was taken as an object to simulate, which used CATIA software as modeling tools and the surface data in an IGES format was imported to DYNAFORM for forming simulation. On the base of summing up the latest achievement made both at home and abroad, the practical application of sheet metal forming numerical simulation was discussed and further researched. The influences to the forming quality of these factors such as blank size, drawabeads binder force and lubricative condition have been analyzed, and through the optimization of these factors, cracking and wrinkling were eliminated. This effect of optimization has been verified through the comparison between simulation and the test results.

Abstract: The finite element software DYNAFORM was applied to simulate the whole tube hydroforming process. The stress distribution, strain distribution and thickness distribution at different process conditions and different times were presented. Abstract: The combination of FEM and BEM can adequately bring into play their advantages in the numerical simulation of diesel engine oil pan; its structure vibration and radiated noise were studied. The FE model and semi-anechoic room BE model were built, the improving designs were put forward by simulation statistics from increasing of damp and structure rigidity. The results showed that the high noise was reduced obviously with damp increasing; the calculation results showed that vibration would reduce and the radiation efficiency was increased by the improvement of the structure rigidity. Comparing the results of experiment and calculation, we found out that both of them have the same trend, so the simulation was verified.

Abstract: OSEK/VDX is the common software interface in the area of automotive electronics. It is necessary to build a real time operating system in order to achieve the real time control of hybrid electric vehicle control system. Real-time operating system can improve the response rate of control system and is easy to implement design modularity. The structure of HEV system, hardware of system and embedded software design were introduced. Design of real-time operating system kernel and methods of task were divided base on the data flow and main state machine, and CAN communication program was presented. A real-time operating system has been built based on the interface OSEK/VDX.

Abstract: Design of electric power steering control system by using μ synthesis was presented, the modeling uncertainties and the external disturbances were considered during the designing of EPS control system. Based on the requirement of electric power steering performance and system specifications, the EPS control system architecture and the weighting functions were selected. The μ controller of EPS has been worked out by using μ control toolboxes in Matlab. Simulations and the calculated μ results showed that the designed μ controller performed satisfactorily and inherited the imposed robustness and performance sections.

Abstract: Car is a complicated dynamic system. It's hard for people to establish an accurate model. The process must be predigested and simplified under the certain condition. The dynamic idiosyncrasy of car has been studied. Based on the mathematic model of eight degree of freedom, car's mass of center acceleration, relatively dynamic load, dynamic flexibility and root mean square value of acceleration with energy method have been concluded. Simulating procedure with Matlab software was also programmed, and some calculating about the car was done. Compared with the experimental results, the simulating outcome met the need of engineering, which meant the mathematic model and deducing were correct.

Abstract: Theoretical judgment condition of ACC extreme operation condition was achieved in terms of small deceleration and big deceleration of the proceeding car on the basis of kinematical
analysis of host car and proceeding car in ACC. Considering the most dangerous operation condition in the proceeding car brakes urgently, the judgment condition of ACC extreme operation condition was confirmed in real use. And through tests, the td and acmax which were the key parameters of the condition have been obtained. The conclusion was that td equals 0.214 s and acmax equaled three different values by three typical road surfaces. Furthermore, according to the condition and typical parameters, the working area of ACC could be divided into three parts, to define the effective areas of ACC and give the driver alarm, and prevent the vehicle from entering the dangerous area after it enters the extreme area.

Abstract:Considering the uncertain characteristic of the tire cornering stiffness, a linear parametric uncertainty vehicle model was developed for designing the controller. An optimal guaranteed cost control scheme was proposed on the basis of an analysis of the existing strategies for vehicle handling and stability control. An optimal guaranteed cost controller for the vehicle stability was
developed based on model-following technique and the vehicle model with parametric uncertainties. Some simulations have been carried out, and the result demonstrated that the optimal guaranteed cost control scheme could not only keep the system stable but also obtain a much smaller slip angle and have much better yaw rate response.

Abstract: To guarantee intelligent vehicle (IV) track preconcerted trajectory steadily, according to IV's simplified model of kinematics, IV model that based on rigid body model was established firstly. Then current and reference posture to develop the dynamic posture error of IV were selected. And state space mathematics model of IV has been constructed to track trajectory closed loop control system by the adopted posture error. Based on Backstepping control algorithm, Lyapunov function has been chosen and controller for IV lane changing and overtaking was designed. Simulation and experiment result showed that the controller designed by this method could track preconcerted trajectory quickly, it is steady and reliable during IV's lane changing and overtaking control course.
