2.7%,。The magnitude of residual stress and the depth of dent are two important factors to assess the effect of laser shocking. They were simulated by numerical analysis software. During the simulation, the key technology was solved and the mathematical model was established. The experiment was also carried out to test the results of simulation. The simulation results were well agreed with the experimental results. The deviation of the depth of dents between calculated results and experimental data is 5.78%, and the magnitude of simulation of residual stresses is 2.7%, which indicated that the numerical simulation could play a directional role in optimizing parameters to improve effect of laser shock processing.
