Based on the structural synthesis method for a paralleled robot mechanism with single-opened chain units and degenerate-rank, an intelligent, systematic and effective new method was put forward. By using this new method the structural synthesis of a 3DOF translational paralleled robot mechanism was carried out. As a result, the structural synthesis automation was realized.
