Based on the movement of closed differential CVT, the virtual prototype of a closed differential CVT was set up by using mechanical system simulation software ADAMS. Physical constraint mechanism of the closed differential CVT was implemented,its dynamic model of virtual prototyping system was built up. And the velocity and the force of important part were analyzed. The result indicated that the consistence of virtual prototype and theoretical calculation were confirmed.
